Jen Hebert is a native of New England and grew up on a farm in Princeton, Massachusetts where she planted her first vegetable garden at age five. Following her years of business and horticultural studies at University of Massachusetts at Amherst and The Stockbridge School of Agriculture, Jen studied under the intense guidance of well-esteemed horticulturalists in the Boston area. She trained with an emphasis on Japanese aesthetic pruning and further developed her innate artistic sense of balance and attention to fine detail.
Over the past several years, Jen has managed and transformed high-end client gardens on the Peninsula, East Bay, Sea Cliff and Pacific Heights neighborhoods of San Francisco. A Palo Alto property that Jen maintained was featured on the 2014 Gamble Garden Spring Tour. Jen takes great interest in conifers, her favorite being Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar. She is a longstanding member of the American Conifer Society.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs as well as working in her own garden.
