After graduating college, Michelle moved to the Bay Area and started working at Terra Ferma Landscapes as Junior Associate in August 2012. With her strong skill set and past experience, she transitioned into the role of Lead Estimator. In 2013, she also took initiative to come up with a new marketing scheme and plan for the company. In 2015, Michelle started working in the field as a Project Manager.
Michelle graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree and a Minor in Sustainable Environments in March 2012. During college she was extremely active in the award-winning Cal Poly Tournament of Roses program where she was Assistant Program Leader for two years. She also studied abroad in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy. From that and her other worldly travels, she developed a larger view of architecture that has impacted her daily work. During her internships, where she worked as an estimator and designer in Los Angeles, discovered that she wanted to work at a residential-design build firm in the future.
Michelle loves to go hiking on the weekends and developing her passion for photography.
