Meet Our New Design Director

Terra Ferma Landscapes is growing!

I am pleased to introduce Amy Wolff as the new Design Director. As I work to raise the bar on our design efforts and expand our approach, I am delighted to have Amy leading our design studio.

She is a licensed Landscape Architect having earned her Master’s of Landscape Architecture from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and her Bachelor’s of Science in Landscape Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. The below painting is inspired by the Val Di Chio in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy (Study Abroad while at Cal Poly Pomona, CA).AW-Italy-Painting

Prior to joining Terra Ferma Landscapes’ (TFL) team, she worked with notable firms Hart Howerton; Hargreaves Associates; Landscape Office (presently Lemon | Brooke); and Marta Fry Landscape Associates. Her experience has a combined portfolio of both private and public sectors shaping her sense of design and visual communications. Her sense of design brings a strong vision and passion allowing for a critical and comprehensive evaluation of each project. She believes a close collaboration among the clients, consultants, and contractors contribute to the seamless and unique creation of every landscape. Her management knowledge, organizational skills, and attention to detail will continue to lead TFL’s design studio to envisioning creative landscapes.

As I continue to strive towards being the Bay Area’s premiere landscape design-build firms, Amy has the necessary attention to detail and overall vision that is required in design-build to ensure our thoughtful and high quality designs are professionally executed.  I am confident our clients will benefit from her involvement.
