This project, a collaboration for architect Dan Speigel’s parents, takes a holistic approach to sustainability. The lush landscape features drought-tolerant plantings and a no-mow lawn. Floor-to-ceiling windows border this contemporary ranch-like home, allowing the interior to borrow excellent views from the landscape. The architecture itself is extended into the landscape, interpreted in the lines of the board-form concrete wall and narrow-linear pavers at the pool deck. In addition to constructing this site, Terra Ferma Landscapes continues to maintain the property through our Fine Gardening division.
