ELYSSIA BASSETT

Principal and Design Director

Elyssia brings extensive knowledge and experience as the Design Director for Terra Ferma Landscapes Design, having been in the industry for over a decade. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree, Elyssia started off as an intern at a residential design build firm in Illinois before moving to California. She arrived in California starting as a Design Drafter growing in her career to Landscape Designer to Manager/Architectural Designer to Project Manager and division Lead. Elyssia’s landscape background consists of planting designs, parks and recreation, high-end residential, community planning, hospitality and commercial projects all over the Bay Area. Not only has Elyssia worked on over 300 residential landscape planting design installs, but her work has been featured in Architecture Digest Magazine, Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine, and California Home + Design Magazine.

Elyssia has a love for fitness and gardening and enjoys spending time with her family.
